REGGAE FEST HITS SKEGNESS

The first weekend in July the ‘Reggae Fest’ comes to Skegness and shuts down one of the main roads in the town. Scarbrough Avenue will be closed for the duration of the weekend for the festival to take place.

On the Saturday there is a fantastic line up from a range of performers as well as Caribbean food stalls, outside bars and children’s entertainment. As the sunsets the crowds will be entertained by a fire show from Juggling Inferno followed by a 7-minute firework spectacular. The Sunday, we do it all again. Another great day full of entertainment with the event being closed by the well-known Zeb Rootz!

The Reggae theme is being continued within the town with live music at the Pier Beach Bar, Wellies Bar, The Marine Boathouse, Busters and The Grosvenor throughout the weekend. Further information can be found at https://visitlincscoast.co.uk/events/view/1240/reg...

Event organiser, Lee Roberts from Visit Lincs Coast said ‘We are looking forward to bringing this new event into Skegness and to use Scarbrough Avenue as a new events space. We are hoping that the weekend will have something for everybody to enjoy and attract people into the town over the two days. We hope the event will be a huge success and continue to grow each year.’
