Immerse yourself in nature

A walker's paradise, the Lincolnshire coast offers stunning stretches of uninterrupted coastal landscapes. Walk the Sutton-on-Sea to Sandilands Coastal Trail to learn more about the coast's rich history and flora and fauna by finding all 23 information boards along the way.

Renowned for its abundance of fishing spots, the coast is home to many angling competitions and sea fishing opportunities. Chapel Point is a popular location; although in winter you can catch fish such as codling, flounders and perhaps a bass, summer is when there is real action. Bass, thornback rays and smoothhounds are why anglers come to Chapel Point as the weather gets warmer.

Each year in November and December, grey seals make their way to Donna Nook to give birth to their pups. The arrival of these pups have captivated visitors since their arrival in the 1970s, and the nature reserve have a viewing platform for those wanting to catch a glimpse of this breath-taking event.
