The golden sandy beach is particularly busy in the summer season, but much quieter for the rest of the year if you're looking to miss the crowds. This Blue Flag beach has award-winning clean water, perfect for a paddle or swim! Skegness beach is found at the heart of the popular seaside town, located on the East Coast of Lincolnshire between Ingoldmells and Gibraltar Point.
If you're bringing your pooch along, keep in mind that dogs are not permitted from 1st May to 30th September and must be kept on lead in all other areas. Fear not, neighbouring beaches such as Ingoldmells and Wolla Bank are dog friendly all year round.
Skegness beach is surrounded by countless activities and amusements. With plenty of ice-cream vendors, dinky donuts and fish & chip shops, you're sure to never go hungry. There's also an abundance of family friendly activities right by the beach, including Atlantis Adventure Golf, Skegness Aquarium, and the iconic Skegness Pier.
There is plenty of parking available near Skegness beach - the two closest car parks are Skegness Beach Car Park (which has toilet facilities), and Skegness Pool & Fitness Centre Car Park.
There are wheelchair access points for the beach, as well as hireable beach wheelchairs.
