    About This Event

    An exhibition inside a train is heading to Skegness - and it's free to visit!

    • Travelling exhibition inside train is packed with interactive exhibits & amazing stories.
    • 70,000 have visited, calling it “brilliant” and “fascinating”. 9 in 10 would recommend visiting.
    • The family-friendly attraction is on 60-stop, year-long tour of Britain and is now calling at Skegness, its first Lincolnshire stop.

    Co-curated with the National Railway Museum and called Inspiration, it uses rare artefacts and amazing stories to explore how railways transformed the world. It includes hands-on engineering challenges and a whistle-stop tour of interesting - and lesser-known - careers on the railways.

    It will be at Skegness railway station from Friday 8th May to Sunday 10th May for its first stop in Lincolnshire. It will be hosted by East Midlands Railway. Visitors have described it as “unique”, “extremely interesting” and “really well curated”.
