Step back in time and celebrate the rich history of cinema in Mablethorpe at Mablethorpe Cinema Day, presented by Loewen Cinema Mablethorpe and Mablethorpe Carnival on Monday 14 September.
This special community event brings together film lovers, local history enthusiasts, and residents for a day dedicated to the town's cinematic heritage. Enjoy exclusive Projection Room Tours at 9:00am and 11:00am, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how the magic of the movies comes to life.
In the afternoon, from 2:00pm to 4:30pm, discover a collection of fascinating films showcasing Mablethorpe's past, providing a unique glimpse into the town's history, landmarks, and community life through the decades.
The day concludes with a free screening of the classic film Summer Holiday starring Cliff Richard at 6:00pm, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
