Event by Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust
5:00pm - 7:30pm, 26th October 2026
Enjoy the interactive, outdoor trail through the woods as the Gibraltar Point Nature reserve goes dark. As you explore there will be challenges for your family to complete and you’ll have the chance to try out the bat detectors and UV lights to see what extra wildlife you can spot. When at the Coastguard Station get hands-on dissecting owl pellets to find out what they’ve been eating, followed by a relaxing hot chocolate as you watch the stars. Weather permitting, we will finish the evening with a walk through the saltmarsh, looking for crabs and doing a bit of stargazing.
This event is suitable for children aged 6-11 and booking is essential as places are limited. Maximum of 2 adults per child. Parking is available, normal parking fees apply. This is an outdoor activity so do come dressed for the weather and we recommend bringing insect repellent with you and a torch with a red light, if you have it.
