About This Business

Seacroft Golf Club, located south of Skegness, is a hidden gem among the top golf courses in the United Kingdom. This fantastic 18-hole championship links golf course has had a rich history since it was founded in 1895. The course has played host to several national championship events, including The English County Finals, The Logan Trophy, The McGregor Trophy, The English Ladies Close Golf Championship, and many more. As a result, the course is used to seeing well-known professional and amateur golfers alike. Golf World ranked it number 1 in their Value Courses in the Great Britain and Ireland category.

Visitors can not only expect an impeccable course with great architecture, but you will be in awe of some of the breathtakingly beautiful, rare plants, and wildlife you will find during your round. In fact, most of the grounds covered by Seacroft Golf Club is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). This is because of the rare species of fauna/flora found within the course, particularly the interdunal wetland and dunes with grasses. In the Spring of 2023, Seacroft Golf Club finished a five-phase plan to improve the visual look of the course and make it more playable for all. One of the finest links architects in England was brought in to reshape bunkers, reposition tees, and improve the greens to challenge not only the most experienced golfers but also the newcomers to the sport. Seacroft Golf Club also boast a fantastic food and drink offering, run by father and daughter duo, Ian, and Amelia.

Their clubhouse is home to both the main lounge and the ‘19th’ which host a variety of different functions year-round and is bookable for private events. In the clubhouse, visitors can choose from an extensive food menu, as well as a substantial wine list and an ample selection of draught beers. On numerous Sundays throughout the year, roast dinners are served. These are extremely popular with both visitors and locals. Light bites can also be enjoyed in the clubhouse.
