An Equality and Diversity Champion has an essential role within an organisation with a responsibility to disseminate good practice and encourage the promotion of equalities to support inclusive customer service and organisational culture.
As an Equality and Diversity Champion, you will support the development of a culture whose core values are underpinned by respect, value and positive attitudes that embrace a diverse and transient community.
The course will support the development of in-business equality and diversity champions with an understanding of Equality Act legislation and the skills to support colleagues to ensure best employment practice and customer excellence which is based upon supporting a diverse customer base.
This course is designed to enable participants to develop an EDI Champion Good Practice Forum that works collaboratively across all aspects of the local Visitor Economy to drive an inclusive and responsive experience for all visitors.
