Burning Bike & Firework Extravaganza

Lincolnshire Coastal Bid and Coastal Events CIC Working Together.

Last night the celebrations for bonfire night kicked off with the Firework Extravaganza delivered on the Festival Field in Trusthorpe.

The event itself attracted thousands of spectators who wrapped up to witness the 20-minute pyro-musical display which has received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback. The bonfire was lit at 6pm and spectators were encouraged to bring their own ‘guy’ to place on top. At 7pm the famous ‘Burning Bike’ was lit in remembrance for a much-loved member of the community followed by the firework show commencing at 7.30pm. The event space had a number of food outlets on site which in returned benefitted local business owners.

‘A totally amazing display, great atmosphere and well organised. Well done to the organisers and volunteers. A very enjoyable evening.’ Karen Hills – Facebook

As the Lincolnshire Coastal BID it was a great pleasure to be able to work with Coastal Events to bring this event to Trusthorpe to be enjoyed by both residents and visitors alike. Patti Marson one of the events organisers said:

‘The night was truly amazing, and attracted over 2000 visitors. Spectators praised the atmosphere as well as the slick organisation. We are pleased to say that everything went to plan with no incidents reported.’

On behalf of both the Lincolnshire Coastal BID and Coastal Events CIC we would like to thank Bright Lights for the spectacular firework display, all local businesses who supported the event and all of our amazing volunteers who gave up their time to ensure the event was delivered safely.
