Skegness Christmas Switch On

This year the Skegness Christmas Switch on will be on Friday 29th November.

The Santa Parade will leave Briar Way at 6.15pm and the switch on will be at 7pm. The lights will be switched on by Santa assisted by The Mayor of Skegness Cllr Mark Dannatt, the cast from The Embassy Theater's Panto - Jack and the Beanstalk and Lincs FM presenters Joseph Begley and Alex Brown.

Anyone who wants to take part in the Santa parade from a group or society, please contact the Hildreds Centre to be included.

Entertainment will start from 6pm with County Linxs Radio and various singers and performers until 9pm and FREE face painting by Alternative Addiction on the night.

The Hildreds award winning Christmas displays will also be switched on at 7pm. Come and visit the Jack and the Beanstalk Giants castle grotto which will open at 7.15pm. You will need to book to see Santa on the Switch On night only. Each child that visits Santa will receive a gift from Santa, a goodie bag and a pot of compost and beans to grow your very own beanstalk at home. The grotto experience will be £5 per child with ALL proceeds going to the Skegness Carnival.

Don't forget to visit Zac and Harry - The Hildreds singing reindeer. This year they will be in Candyland and you will be able to see where all of the candy comes from. You can post your letter to Santa on the night too and receive a free reply within 24 hours as well as pick up a Christmas colouring competition form to win some fabulous prizes.
