Skegness Carnival

The Skegness Carnival Week 2018 kicks off with the Carnival Parade on Sunday 12th August, where local businesses enter and decorate their floats, parade through the streets and entertain the crowds. The theme for this years parade is Around the World in 80 Minutes. Throughout the day there is also a Family Gala and live entertainment courtesty of the Skegness Summer Festival. 

Every day from the 12th to the 17th August there is free Family, Live Entertainment in Tower Gardens. 

Monday sees the return of the day at the beach with pavement artist competition in the morning and sandcastle competition in the afternoon. 

The Baby Show and fancy dress competition is held on Tuesday in Tower Gardens. 

The always popular 999 day returns on the Wednesday of Carnival week where we thank our emergency services. There is also plenty to see and interact with including the police, fire and the Army. 

Friday will bring an end to the carnival week with a Pet and Dog Show in Tower Gardens.
