The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway will be holding a special Steampunk-themed event at Ludborough station from Saturday 26th to Monday 28th May.

Steampunk is all about mixing old and new by fusing the usability of modern technology with the design and philosophy of the Victorian age, particularly steam-powered machinery.

We’ve named the event “Nanty Narkins”, which is Victorian slang for “Great Fun”. So, whether you are into Steampunk or not, it promises to be a great weekend of fun and frivolity for everyone!

Steam trains will be running hourly from 10.45am to 3.45pm each day. In the Events Field there will be a Steampunk craft market, Performers, Traction Engines, Fortune Teller, Tea & Cakes, side show and games. Cream Teas will be served on the 1.45pm train on Monday. Tickets are £12 person, which must be booked in advance.

There will be Evening Entertainment with a Bar in the marquee on Saturday evening, featuring Alice Night Circus. Entrance is by ticket only which are £10 each and are available online or from Ludborough station shop. When you buy ten or more tickets you get two free.
