Today we have made the difficult decision to POSTPONE this event due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. We are now in discussions to look at alternative dates to deliver the event in 2020.
Lee Roberts, Project Coordinator, said: “We are extremely sorry to have had to make this decision. We have been monitoring the news and advice continually but as the situation has unfolded and intensified, we know we have no alternative but to postpone Vintage On Sea 2020.
“We fully understand the government’s guidance to cancel large public gatherings and national events to help reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus. The safety and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers, performers and visitors is as always our number one priority.”
"We know what a positive impact the event had on Sutton On Sea last year, and by postponing the event until later on in the year, we hope that again, the event will benefit businesses, resident and visitors during the event and to bring people into the area once the wider picture is clearer for us all. We will do all we can to ensure the event is as good as ever."
“We would like to thank everyone for supporting the event and for their hard work and commitment during this difficult time. the cancellation of the show has a significant impact on not only us, but our performers and businesses and the local community around the event."
